It’s not “just tourism,” as we sometimes hear.

Remember, tourism is the first, second, or third largest industry in every state in America. Tourism has tremendous potential to change our communities, and the revenues derived from the travel industry contribute to education, social programs, environmental protection, and many other quality-of-life assets. It’s time to broaden the conversation about tourism – to take it beyond the usual chamber of commerce or city government approach.
